Tanzania, the country of the Kilimanjaro and Serengeti Tanzania is located in East Africa bordering the Indian Ocean. Tanzania’s 44 million inhabitants work mainly in agriculture with a small number of these active in rose growing, mainly the intermediates. Four times weekly Tanzania has a handful of rose growers, together they work in an area of about 100 hectares, mainly in the Arusha area (at a height of 1600 metres). Rosalink collaborates with the largest Tanzanian rose growers and roses are flown to the Netherlands via Dar es Salaam or Nairobi (Kenya) four times a week.
